The printing process is divid into three phases: pre-press, printing and post-press.
Pre-press consists of preparing the original documents up to the engraving of the plate. All these operations thanks to digital printing are carri out via a computeriz system.
The main steps of pre-press consist of
layout, preparing the work to be print in digital form; normalization, i.e. the possibility of converting a file into a standard france phone number library format (PDF, PDF/X, EPS, PS, TIFF); control, verification that all the necessary elements are present; color; assembly, i.e. the correct numbering of the pages; color proof.
Once these steps are complet, the project is interpret, burn and screen and finally a plate is engraved for each primary color (CMYK) and for each spot color.
There is little to say about the second phase, the work after the meticulous revision seen in the pre-press phase, is pass to printing.
The third and final phase is post-press
During this phase the print material is cut, fold, packaged, glu and other various operations that vary according to the type of printed material commission.
It should be not that the phases describ for digital printing also apply to offset printing with the exception and advantage of not having to wait for the ink drying times requir for a print material made with offset machinery. This advantage allows digital printing to reduce times while maintaining the quality and cost unchang with the additional advantage of being able to be appli even for low-run print materials. Actions that cannot otherwise be perform in traditional printing, offset.
Furthermore we remind you once
again that the offset printing process falls within the analog sector, even if it uses digital techniques in the pre-press 9 new hubspot features and use cases phase.PrevNext
